Active Manuka Miracle Honey Salve
Regular priceBursting with over 30% UMF™ 15+ Mānuka honey, Active Mānuka was formulated to soothe, quicken the healing process and aid in the reduction of scarring. Blended with a plethora of skin saving botanicals such as Calendula and Chamomile, this multipurpose salve works in harmony with your skin to address troublesome skin woes.
PROVEN EFFICACY: Independently backed by science*, Active Mānuka has been clinically proven to reduce wounded fibroblast skin cells by up to 63% within 96 hours!
A wound, by definition, is a breakdown in the protective function of the skin. The conducted test showed that when using Active Mānuka, the treated wound was reduced or closed by 63% within 96 hours of being applied. This consistent continued closure of the wound is reflective of the unique formulation and positive interaction with the damaged cells. Wound healing was assessed by the rate of migration and proliferation of skin fibroblasts across a wound made in a mono-layer culture of cells.
